Recently as in the last 14 days, I banned a night out for husband to lap dancing bar with boys. (all asaid boys 40 plus) We sat in silence for the entire friday night, Ascot Races we went and Husband bemoaned every factor, funny if he was out with the boys he would not notice the price of a jacket potato.
The last Straw
This coming Sunday we were meant to be going skating with the children and meeting with some of the husbands single girlfriends. A Family day, as was painted in advance and our other friends with children were coming.
The FACTS
Single birthday girl with single friends is travelling up on train with champagne.
Going to photographic exhibition(I would love but Mimi I think not!)
At 1pm we meet for pizza.
Skating is at 4pm
Estimated cost of 'Family' excursion in excess of £150 plus girlie present.
Now anyone with children aged between 3-14 tell me where in these 6 hours is the family fun bit.. no other kids just one child minder me, just one beer drinker the husband.
PLAN B
Without husband who will be in seriously grumpy mode, as always I will get it in the neck thats our marriage.
Go skating at John Nike, then pizza locally and cinema golden compass!
I used to think husband and I had glue, but where I sit it feels I am in another hemisphere.
