Kids, husbands etc etc etc, in my dreams this week I got scrubbed up, of course lost the compulsory 8lbs that have stuck to my waistline and went dancing. Out until 1am.

In reality there was not dancing, washing yes, taking teenager to her ballet lesson, Tom to his tennis tournament and various domestic tasks.

The highlight of the weekend was Pangebourn school, it is one we are considering for the boys. The headmaster was the scrummiest site I have seen since I attended school, very tall, very well spoken, and eloquent, how can I develop a crush on a headmaster. Asaid elder son 12 nearly 13, barely grunted in response to questions. As a mother I want to stamp on his foot,he did not like the uniform, Once I had stopped fluttering around the headmaster I realised my once cream trousers have Mimi mouth shapes on the knee and inner thigh, chocolate biscuit remains on the knee cap such a fetching sight.

The book yes it is still going to be a best seller, yes in New York as well as the UK well this weekend I research a lot, ie I read the Sunday Mail and brought the news of the world because it had a high school musical poster and stickers for my girls. As you gather I am big on research.

And my horoscope, more research says that life is on the up:

Why feel guilty because your life is starting to improve? Instead be glad you are finding ways to achieve your goals and create the life you have been subconsciously craving. Neither luck nor chance has made the difference. You have worked hard to get this far and because you've got the courage to break away from outmoded situations or difficult relationships things can only get better!

Off to pack PE bags, sort shoe cupboard and dream of dancing with the headmaster of Pangebourne in my Jimmy Choos!
